Ten years ago, no one would have predicted that eSports would be offering the excellent job opportunities that it is today. From marketing to finance, those looking for opportunities will find that an eSports is an industry itself now, and it is chock-full of jobs that pay equally as well as other industries.

eSports are expected to generate an overwhelming revenue of 800 million dollars. The events taking place under its umbrella are getting bigger and bigger each year. Audiences for these events are also expanding as players win millions of dollars in prize money.

Consider this; a tournament that will attract thousands of fans at the venue and will be viewed across the globe by millions requires considerable manpower. This is the reason why eSports has helped create many jobs that range from social media manager to commentators. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The gamers themselves have need for people to help them when they are participating in tournaments. Managers can help streamline their journeys by booking hotels, arranging commute etc. Also behind the scenes, game developers are also hiring project managers to help manage their creative teams in developing games that will appeal to online multiplayer gamers.
